We've been baking!

To try and get this business off the ground, we decided to make a few cute sweets to send out as samples. Here's a little peak at what we've been making.

Orange-Vanilla Bean Cupcake

They have fresh vanilla bean and meringue buttercream icing. These turned out really yummy! We had fun making them and the candied oranges were delicious!

T's Classic Coconut Macaroons
mmmm!

Chocolate-Espresso Snowcap

This next amazing cookie is called The Chocolate-Espresso Snowcap.
I think it's pretty much unanimous around here that this is, so far, our favorite cookie!
The strong espresso flavor is an amazing combination with the bittersweet chocolate. And the powdered sugar coating makes these little pretties melt in your mouth!

The Snowcap will definitely be a regular in our kitchen!

Garza Wedding

A very classic look, this wedding was just lovely. The bridal party was all in black & ivory so the vibrant colors in the flowers just popped!

Bouquets
The bride chose the asiatic lilies as her main flower & from there it took form with classic roses, lemon leaf, hydrangea & looped beargrass. She even got to use three ivory silk roses from her mothers own wedding bouquet that were tucked in very inconspicuously but complemented so well by the addition of the other fresh cream colored blooms. Very sweet ...

Bouquets
Simple, fresh & so chic... varied succulents & craspedia & a little yarrow made up the bride's compact bouquet; and just succulents made a statement against the vibrant color of the bridesmaids' dresses.

Boutonnieres

Each was a little different...

Centerpieces

The table centerpieces were live plantings of succulents that doubled as party favors for the guests. What a novel idea!
